WE LIKE SEX BEET

Sex Beet are masters of combining buzz genres. They have the punk attitude, the fuzzy lo-fi production, the surf style guitar lines and most importantly the tunes. It’s like all the best bits of modern underground rock bands have been spliced together to create a genre defining band. This new wave of noisy, lo-fi indie bands is brilliant. Some are taking it to the mainstream (Wavves and Best Coast) but Sex Beet are definitely keeping it in the down and dirty underground with their fuzzy riffin’ and sharp singing. Like your guitar music with a lick of surf and a heap of fuzz? Look no further than Sex Beet, they will be all you need, for like, forever. Dude.
Sex Beet have been included on some cool compilations: the Gruff Trade compilation from Rough Trade and the Dance Magic Dance tape comp. They also have some seven inch splits with The Castillians. So there’s a clue that anyone who is into music, knows they are something cool enough to release. They are also playing the Vice Issue Launch show on the 16th September, and Vice have their finger on the garage rock pulse. Dance, dance, dance to the beet of Sex Beet!
